You know the change you want to make for your clients and community. A well-executed strategic planning process unifies your staff and board, helps you decide how to best allocate your resources, and positions you to make the meaningful impact your community needs.
Our approach:
- Analyze the core areas of high performing organizations: Mission, Vision, and Values; Leadership; Finance and Fundraising; Strategic Relationships; Operations, Management, and Culture; Program Delivery and Impact to determine your organizational strengths, challenges, opportunities, and threats (SCOT).
- Connect with staff and board members, clients, volunteers, donors and partners, conducting interviews, surveys, and focus groups to understand their perceptions and aspirations for your organization
- Facilitate retreats and work sessions designed to engage board and staff leaders in thoughtful discussion about the organization’s current condition, your unified vision and values, and your strategic goals.
- Frame the plan for board approval. Working with a small group of board and staff leaders we synthesize the discussions at retreats and work sessions, presenting your mission, vision, and values and high-level strategic goals to the board for approval.
- Once the framework is approved, we work with your team to create detailed action plans for each strategic goal to include tactics, timelines, key performance metrics, and accountabilities.
You have a Plan, but Something has Changed.
Sometimes changing conditions impact your ability to deliver on your strategic plan. With a strategic refocus, we guide staff and board leaders through a facilitated evaluation and evolution of your plan to adapt to current realities. Plans can change, but meaningful impact is the constant goal.
