The Virginia Fund Raising Institute is the premier training ground for fundraising professionals in Virginia. Begun in 1992, by the Shenandoah Chapter and expanded in 2000 with other Virginia AFP chapters, the Institute draws attendees from all over Virginia, DC, Maryland and West Virginia and is celebrating its 34th anniversary in 2026.
